I find myself in need to essentially two Furioso Dreadnaughts...

GW has the old one for a massive $49.50, but it's the old metal kit with no redeeming features other than dual powerfists...

I'd rather be purchasing the new kits to use, namely the Ironclad or Venerable Dread rather than the old Furioso kit...

Has anyone actually bought an Ironclad kit yet, and if so, does it have a second powerfist in it?

Also, does the Venerable kit have a second powerfist? (The venerable appears to not have two fists from what I can see)

according to the March 2010 White Dwarf the new Venerable kit does have two powerfists, but they are for the same arm, the left arm.

The Ironclad pretty much comes with a second powerfist but they're pretty bulky and different.

$50 is way cheaper than new tires...

The Ironclad kit has a bunch of funny CCW arms; none are power-fist-ish, though one is a triangular buzz-saw blade which could stand for one. (Though it might get confused for a chain fist.)

Alternately you could just grab a plastic left arm, whack it off at the wrist, and swap the hand (which IIRC is symmetrical) onto the other arm. You might need to fab up a forearm, however.

Failing ALL that I might have a spare (metal) dreadnought fist, but it'll be an older generation Dreadnought and therefore smaller (I think).

The new Venerable kit has ONE close combat arm, and it's for the right side. The only swappable part on it is the hand part. You have a choice between the traditional claw, or the humanized fist.

The Ironclad comes with a chainfist arm, a seismic hammer arm, a fancy close combat arm, and a hurricane bolter arm.
the chainfist arm won't work very well, as the chainsaw part is actually a "plug" type socket that needs to be inserted inside the stump of the forearm.

The seismic hammer is huge, but is workable as a powerfist, as is the other close combat arm.
Best bet is to buy an Ironclad kit. Use the hammer/DCCW combo. Yuo can even swap the sarcophagus front with any of the ones that come in the regular Dread kit to mkae it more Blood Angelic.

If Patrick couldn't help you out let me know. I have a pair of furioso arms if you need them.

I'm pretty sure that I have most of, if not all of, an entire furioso dreadnaught actually. If you're interested you could have it for considerably less than 49.50 too.
